my sozo story

My perception of yoga was that it was for young, strong, flexible people, who already had perfect bodies. I was intimidated & perhaps a bit insecure about giving it a serious chance. So, I've spent ears running & trying different core workouts, never to achieve any great revelations in body or mind.

When SOZO Yoga opened, encouraged by a dear friend, I decided to give yoga a chance. With certainty that it would not be for me, I signed up for a class... then another. Suddenly, I found myself attending 5 days a week!

I'm surprised to discover how transformative yoga can be.

The gradual changes to body shape, strength, & flexibility has become an exciting & slightly addictive adventure! The positive influence on my mind has increased my sense of value & priority for selfcare, which continues to grow stronger.

SOZO Yoga Studio specifically, provides such an incredible community. The friendship, support & encouragement found within those walls is priceless. I've not had such a positive experience in any other "workout" environment. This is due to Kara & her team of instructors, along with the wonderful community of yogis that are drawn to this positive & peaceful environment. It's like meeting friends at a spa every day, to lift each other up.

l'm so grateful to have given SOZO Yoga a chance.

I can't speak highly enough about it, and recommend it to everyone!
