Tracie Winters

After living a very inactive existence, Tracie started running in 2005 and tried yoga to help stretch and build strength. She loved how yoga complemented running, as well as providing a mental escape from the daily grind but still let a demanding career control her schedule and did not make it to her mat very often.

In 2009, Tracie participated in a 21-day yoga challenge during one of the busiest months of the year for her job. After completing the challenge, she realized she could and needed to make yoga a priority in her life. She became an annual member and began a regular practice. In 2019, Tracie completed her 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification at Guruv Yoga in Florida and was pleasantly surprised to learn she loved teaching yoga and did not want the journey to end. She has been teaching yoga classes, as well as continuing to take yoga teaching certifications ever since.

Tracie recently moved to Georgia at the end of 2025 and took her first yoga class at SOZO in January 2026. She knew she had found her community after the first class. She has enjoyed practicing and connecting with students and teachers and looks forward to sharing the gift of yoga again.

Tracie is an E-RYT 500 YACEP Certified Yoga Instructor and is also certified in Ayurvedic Nutrition. She has taught Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, Yin, Power Yoga, Chair, Meditation, as well as Christina Phipps Foundation Oncology yoga classes.
