Derek Keon, a.k.a. DK

DK has been guiding individuals through their yoga practice since 2019. His approach is simple: your mind, your body, your spirit — your practice. He focuses on helping each person connect to their own experience, building strength, awareness, and balance at their own pace. His work is rooted in helping people reconnect with themselves through movement, breath, and awareness. He draws from multiple disciplines to support both physical strength and emotional balance.

DK is experienced in: Trauma-Informed Yoga Bikram/Hot Yoga, Breathwork Coaching, Gravity Yoga (deep stretching and mobility). He offers three class formats: Modified Bikram Hot Yoga (60/90 minutes) which is structured, heated practice focused on strength, flexibility, and discipline, adapted to meet students right where they are. Rest & Recovery (60/90 minutes) A slower, restorative class designed to support healing, mobility, and nervous system regulation. YoHIIT (45 minutes) A high-intensity interval training class that blends yoga with functional movement for strength, endurance, and conditioning. DK is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
